I'm a Samoan-American knitwear designer living in the UK. As the founding partner of Stephen & Penelope in Amsterdam, I've spent over 15 years in the knitting and handcraft world as a purveyor as well as a consumer. I started designing patterns because I'm hard-headed and always want to figure things out myself. Sometimes I think my life would be so much easier if I could just follow directions!
